Questions that come up in day-to-day work with infoBoard.

Log in to infoBoard. On the “Administration” tab, select the “Verbindung” menu item. Under “Auto-Login auf letzter Plantafel”, clear the “Aktiviert” checkbox.

Log in to infoBoard. On the “Module” tab, select “infoBoard Controlling”, “Auslastungsdarstellung” and “Produktionszeilen wählen”. You can now clear the checkbox for each row that counts as “nicht-produktiv”. An NP then appears in the cleared rows.

The server logs are in the “Logs” folder in the infoBoard Server installation path. The client log is stored in the Roaming area of the Windows user’s AppData folder — for example “C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\HC Software\infoBoard\iBClientLog.txt”. You can also open the client log directly in infoBoard.

Open the infoBoard Sync configuration and the “Datei allgemein” dialog. On the “Benutzerdefinierte Attribute” tab, enter the names of your attributes. Then open Services and restart “infoBoard Synchronisation”.

The demo server communicates with the client over port 8010. Open port 8010 in your firewall. If you maintain a whitelist, allow the domain “demo.infoboard.biz”.

Check your Windows settings. Right-click the desktop and select “Display settings”. On the “Display” tab, the “Change the size of text, apps, and other items” setting must be set to 100%.

Only a Named User can open a new planning board. The Administrator is only responsible for user management, user permissions and entering the public vacation.

Log in to infoBoard with the Administrator account. On the “Administration” tab, select “Menüeinträge verwalten”. A dialog opens. In the dialog, you can clear the checkboxes for the menu items.

Log in to infoBoard as the Owner. Click the planning board you want to copy and enter a new name for the copy. Under “zusätzliche Objekte”, select all checkboxes to create a 1-to-1 copy.

The manual is in the installation package on the server. You can also open it in the planning board at any time: on the “?” tab, select “Handbuch (Internet)”. infoBoard then downloads the manual and displays it.

Log in to infoBoard. On the “?” tab, select the “Info” menu item. A dialog opens. In it, you can read the version.

Log in to infoBoard as an Administrator. On the “Administration” tab, select “Benutzerverwaltung”. A dialog opens where you can edit user permissions.

Log in to infoBoard. On the “Bearbeiten” tab, select “Suchen”. A dialog opens. Select the “Objekte filtern” checkbox – infoBoard highlights the object you are looking for in the planning board.

Log in to infoBoard as the Owner. The “Plantafelauswahl / Verwaltung” dialog opens. On the right-hand side, in the Administration area, you can delete the selected planning board. Deleting can take a few seconds.

Log in to infoBoard. On the “?” tab, select “Plantafelüberprüfung”. A dialog opens. In the dialog, select “Delivery Dates” and click “Check Items”. infoBoard then shows all objects with a missed delivery date.

Log in with the Administrator account. In the selection field on the right, open “Länderfeiertage”. A dialog opens. Select the country and year you want. Then log in as the Owner and select “Feiertage” under “Administration”.

Log in to infoBoard as the Owner. On the “Administration” tab, select “Plantafel erweitern”. A dialog opens where you can set a new end date.

Log in to infoBoard. On the “Administration” tab, select “Lokale Einstellungen”. A dialog opens. Select the “Hervorhebung” tab and lower the transparency.

Log in to infoBoard and press the Esc key. The highlights are now removed.

Log in to infoBoard. On the “Ansicht” tab, select “Objektvorlagen”. You can then activate the categories you want to see.

Log in to infoBoard. Remove the dependencies between the two objects where you want to insert the new object: right-click the object, select “Relationen bearbeiten” and remove the successor. Then hold down the Alt key, select the object and drag it to the successor.

Log in to infoBoard. On the “?” tab, select “Plantafelüberprüfung”. A dialog opens. In the dialog, select “Overlaps” and click “Check Items”. infoBoard then shows all objects that overlap in time.

Log in to infoBoard. On the “?” tab, select “Hilfe”. A dialog opens. In the top right of it, you can display the release notes.
